Thanksgiving weekend at our house is always a busy one. Back
in the day when I worked at Ticket Master I would work the morning shift then
come home and as I like to put it, build my pumpkin pies. It takes several
hours as they aren’t just pumpkin pies. Oh no, not in this house, they have to
be pumpkin chiffon pies. That means a lot more time is spent because once the
pumpkin and all the seasonings are cooked, you have to wait for it to cool down
so you can proceed with the rest of the recipe. It was usually early evening
before I was done. Now, however since I set my own hours with my little
cleaning company, the weekends are all mine. This last one was of course
Thanksgiving. I had those suckers built and in the fridge by 2pm.
