Another stop on our summer vacation was Nelson and Kaslo B.C.
Situated in the heart of the Kootneys, these two places are a must see if you
like the feel of a laid back type of life style. There is no hustle or bustle
here. The architecture is from a bygone era, with not much renovating as far as
I could tell. I found people to be very friendly and helpful. We wandered up
and down Baker St. in Nelson one afternoon and stuck our heads into most of the
shops and of course the Kootenay Bakery Cafe because they had an amazing assortment
of goodies.
